How to Install & Use
- Insert two AA 1.5V alkaline batteries. Batteries are not included, and rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
- Hand-tighten the BSP 3/4-inch threaded inlet onto your compatible UK outside tap.
- Attach your garden hoses or irrigation lines to the two outlets.
- Turn the dial to 'Set Clock' to input the current time.
- Turn the dial to 'Zone 1' to set the start time, duration, and frequency for your first area. Repeat for 'Zone 2'.
- Turn the dial back to 'Auto' to begin your scheduled watering. Use the Rain Delay button to pause watering when rain is forecast.

It is good. It is annoying that if I want to fill a bucket, I have to follow a long procedure, such as pressing Manual to set the time, and after that I can use it for a short time. I would advise adding an easier function to override the setup function, so I can quickly fill a watering can.
Bought this timer for my vegetable garden. It works as desired. I wish the display was a little bigger, but it is doable. Took some time to figure it out. The clock is a 24 hour clock, so make sure that your start time is 5:00 in the morning, not 5:00 in the afternoon.

I have been using this for two weeks now and love it. Wish I had bought it sooner. It keeps my yard watered nicely. It was not overly hard to program, but I did need the instructions to understand some settings. The rain delay and manual watering are useful. So far it has worked perfectly.
